Do you struggle to say “No,” and find yourself overwhelmed, tired or resentful? Do you often sense yourself simply putting-up with uncomfortable situations and tolerating uncomfortable relationships? Are you worried about coming across as disrespectful, mean or demanding? You might be struggling with boundaries.
Boundaries are a way that we teach others how we want to be treated. They are also a reflection of our sense of integrity (being honest, having principals and being a whole person). They protect us from insult and open us to kindness. With functional boundaries we can deepen our sense of closeness to those we love… and also create appropriate distance with people or events involving discomfort. These practices actually create more freedom (not less) because we have a greater sense of control, self respect and safety!
If you are ready to consider the role of boundaries in your life then this class is for you! Let’s gather to learn about why physical and emotional boundaries are so important and how you can practice them in your life. With healthy boundaries you can take care of yourself and take care of others in a way that is sustainable and adds meaning to your life.
And look for our 1 hour workshop on Sept 20th for playful, supportive hands-on practice with your unique boundaries!
