Meet The Guided Wellness Team
Therapy in St. George, UT
Hello and welcome to Guided Wellness! I am so glad you are here; you being here and considering therapy for yourself is a brave, empowered choice. I know that depression, anxiety and PTSD can make it feel difficult to talk about your struggle. That’s why my number one priority is to create a space where you feel safe and confident to explore your story with me. I want you to know that therapy is a collaboration between us. We are in this together, right in the middle of Southern Utah.
I like to think of counseling as an opportunity to write, edit, and reclaim your life story. In fact, my favorite moments in therapy are when clients realize that their ‘old story’ – the one where they were told or felt worthless, helpless or unsafe – doesn’t have to be that way anymore! You get to be the author now! Low self esteem begins to rise. Self respect becomes a daily experience. Confidence in who you are increases. Stress lightens and you begin to confidently set boundaries in your relationships.
Depression, anxiety and trauma can make you feel like you are crazy and broken; neither is true. I know this darkness and pain all too well. In fact, my clients tell me that one of my greatest gifts is an ability to sit with them in their darkness and pain and grief. And when the dark moments pass, I will still be there to move forward with you on your journey.
I have a unique passion for holistic health and well-being. There are many ways to heal, and I enjoy working with clients who want to try something different and co-create a path to healing that is unique to them and their needs. Maybe we will visit in our comfy St. George, UT office. Or maybe we will walk, hike or dance through therapy sessions! There is no one way to the healing you desire.
I will meet you where you are, without judgment, criticism or fear. I come to this work to empower you. Maybe you are experiencing feelings of worthlessness, a faith transition, PTSD symptoms, difficulties in your relationships, or wanting to reclaim your sexuality. I want to help women reclaim aspects of their lives that they feel are out of harmony with who they are.
When we enter into therapy together we experience connection and power; when we realize we are not alone, we begin to heal. So take the first step towards healing and meet me on the trail, at the office or in a group. I can’t wait to see where your healing takes us.
